Mono Lake Afternoon
Mono Lake is an eerie lake in the Sierras. Even though this view doesn’t show the tuffas – when you see them, you feel as if you are on another planet. They are pointy light colored forms that push up through the water. I love to paint here because there is so much variety of views.
4″ x 6″, palette knife oil painting on cradled board.
